Q: How do you spend your time outside of the salon?
A: Lately my time away from the salon consists of traveling, reading, cooking, writing, painting, yoga-ing, hiking, meditating, spending time with friends, family and my baby girl, Princess Rita Party Pants (my dog).
- Graduate of Paul Mitchell The School
- Offers women's and men's cuts and colors, bridal styling, facial waxing, brow shaping, make-up, styling
Q: What made you decide to become a hairstylist?
A: I've always enjoyed doing hair. When I was younger I would cut my friends hair and style them for proms and such. Speaking to other "grown-ups", everyone always said how much they hated their jobs. I never wanted to hate doing hair so I did the college thing. Found out that wasn't for me and just decided to go for it. I'm so happy I did.
Q: Have you had any advanced training?
A: I've been to a few hands on hair shows since graduating that were wonderful, but I feel that most of my continuing education has occurred in the salon, learning from my fellow stylists and just getting in there and trying new things.
